VFN has members from all over the world, coming from many different walks of life, and therefore combining different parenting ideas and beliefs. We respect and embrace those differences and expect all of our members to do the same. These rules apply both to face-to-face interactions and online.
Be kind and courteous
Our goal is to support each other as much as possible as we all take on the most challenging and rewarding job in the world – being a parent. Everybody must be treated with respect and kindness, especially where opinions differ.
No hate speech or bullying
Bullying of any kind is not allowed. Degrading comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated. We each have a duty to avoid any behavior which could bring the network or our fellow members into disrepute.
No self-promotions or spam
VFN is not a marketing platform. Promotion of a business must comply with the advertising rules for member businesses available in the Member only section of the website.
Respect everyone’s privacy
Be mindful that discussions taking place in VFN groups can be sensitive and private. What is shared in your group(s) should stay in the group(s).
