Twice a year, in spring and autumn, the VFN community comes together for our hugely popular International Flea & Member Business Market. It is the perfect place to snap up gently-loved baby and toddler gear, toys, books, clothes, equipment, nursery deco, maternity wear, and interesting new reads—pretty much everything your growing family could ever need! While table bookings are reserved exclusively for VFN members to sell their pre-loved items, the market doors are wide open to everyone, to pop along and browse.
Of course, a community event of this scale relies entirely on the generosity and spirit of our wonderful volunteers, who step up to ensure everything runs like clockwork in all aspects of the event. Visitors can also drop by our Charity Café & Bake Sale to enjoy a cup of coffee, lemonade or tea along with homemade cakes, biscuits, savory items and pizza lovingly baked and donated by our members. Every single penny raised from the Cafe, the Bake Sale, the Spin The Wheel, the Craft Areas and spontaneous donations goes directly to our chosen Charity of the Year—voted for by our membership. This year, we are absolutely delighted to be raising funds to support the incredible work of MOMO.
Since 2013 MOMO Children’s Palliative Care Center walks alongside children with life-threatening or life-shortening illnesses and holds their families through every stage of the journey.
